Øystein Sevåg started his piano studies when he was five and guitar studies when he was twelve; in 1970 he entered a church rock group as a bass-guitar player. Later, against his father's pressure, he created a collective together with his friends, which performed in Oslo bars and restaurants playing popular tunes. Around the same time Sevåg got interested in jazz. Still, in 1972 he enrolled at a private musical school to study the classical flute and also the organ and the piano. In 1975 he entered the conservatoire in the class of the flute.

Øystein Sevåg organized his first serious collective Ischjazz in 1973 together with Lakki Patey. This collective played jazz-rock and gained certain popularity in the country. In 1976 it performed on the national television in the competition for young talents.

The core concept and the basis of the musical material of jazz-rock quintet Ischjazz was their striving for presenting the listeners with an opportunity to generate the musical space around them independently, and to view each composition in one's own way.

Benedicte Torget is a famous singer and author of songs, she has performed on radio and television as well as in concert halls since she was six.

She studied at the musical conservatoire in Oslo and learned the improvisation styles in the XVII century music, folk music and jazz. She cooperated with many renowned musicians in Norway and abroad. The album "After A Day Of Rain" was her first recording of her own songs. In 2015 she released the album "Karin Boye Songs" together with Øystein Sevåg, for which they were awarded with the NOPA Music Prize 2014. Benedicte Torget released the album "Like a Seed Let it Fall" in 2016.

In 2008 Benedicte Torget founded her own label "Present Recordings".

Guy Mintus is a pianist, composer and teacher, who was born in Israel and now resides in New-York. In the opinion of Tom Henry from "Toledo Blade" newspaper, he is a brilliant musician, combining a multicultural outlook with passion and frenzy of great jazz musicians. Guy is a fervent admirer of jazz and classical music as well as an enthusiastic expert on the Mediterranean cultures. He travels a lot to perform and study with maestros of various musical traditions. Employing this versatile knowledge he synthesizes musical cultures authentically and harmonically during his performances which "the spectators listen to with bated breath" (Barka Fabiánová, "Full Moon Zine" magazine).

His début composition "A Home In Between", performed by 26-years-old Guy's trio, became the choice of the editor of "DownBeat" magazine in June 2017. Apart from this, the achievements of the musician include second prize and the audience choice at the competition of the pianists' solo performances at the jazz festival in Montreux, two Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), as well as a full scholarship of Manhattan School of Music and Berklee College of Music. Guy was entrusted with composing music for American Composers Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, "Imani Winds" Festival of Chamber Music, "Allumer" Horn Quartet and Schwarz Foundation.

Ensemble airborne extended was founded in 2013 and is a female Quartett playing contemporary music consisting of the instruments harp, harpsichord/keyboard, flutes, recorders/Paetzoldflutes with and without electronics and performance. Being part of the Austrian NASOM-program 2018/19 airborne extended is presenting worldwide new works written for the Ensemble.

Elena Gabbrielli completed her musical and philosophical studies in Venice, studying flute at the Conservatory of Music "Benedetto Marcello" and at the University "Ca´Foscari". Other notable teachers have been Pier Narciso Masi, Patrick Gallois and Chiara Tonelli. She has also completed the Master of Practice Performance in Contemporary Music at the Musikuni Graz (A), under the guidance of Klangforum Wien. Elena plays regularly between Austria and Italy in various chamber projects and contemporary music ensembles in collaboration with Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Zeitfluss, Platypus Ensemble, The Black Page Orchestra, Neofonia, Ensemble L'Arsenale, mdi ensemble and RepertorioZero. She had the opportunity to work with important living composers such as George Friedrich Haas, Tristan Murail, Philippe Leroux, Mathias Spahlinger, Beat Furrer. Her performances has been broadcasted by RAI-Radio3 and ORF.

Sonja Leipold, harpsichord. Focusing on early and contemporary music, she regularly performs as a soloist, basso continuo-player and with her own ensembles at renowned concert festivals all over Europe and Asia. She was awarded by the Austrian ministry of culture (for her programme "perspectives of the harpsichord"), was prize-winner at the international harpsichord competitions Bologna 2011, Fidelio 2012, Annelie de Man 2012 (den Bosch/contemporary harpsichord). In 2013 she was awarded a fellowship both for her research in baroque music and for her contribution to contemporary harpsichord repertoire and founded the ensemble „les roses sauvages", which performs music by female composers of the 17th and 18th century. Sonja Leipold works as an accompanist and chamber music teacher at ITAM Linz (with Emma Kirkby), Austria Baroque Academy, ISA Vienna, and Theater an der Wien, participated in film- and CD-productions and also appears with orchestras and Ensembles . Sonja Leipold is also member of the executive committee of ISCM Austria and since 2015 she teaches at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Caroline Mayrhofer has been teaching at the conservatorio di Bolzano. Caroline was repeatedly pricewinner at the competition „Jugend musiziert", 2012 she was price-winner at the international competition for contemporary recorder-music in Darmstadt. As a soloist and in Ensembles she performs throughout Europe, America, Asia. She is part of many CD- and Radioproductions (RecRec, EMI digital, RAI, ORF, radio espace 2).

Harpist Tina Žerdin, was awarded with the scholarship of Ministry of Culture of Republic of Slovenia and of the University of Music Vienna as well as for her artistic and scientific work on the role of harp in Richard Wagner's operas a Bayreuth Festival–scholarship. She performs a lot at home and abroad, as a soloist, soloist with orchestras. She is also a member of various chamber music ensembles. She is a solo-harpist of Vienna chamber orchestra, Synchron stage orchestra and of the original-sound orchestra "Wiener Akademie", collaborates regularly with Wiener Volksoper, Wiener Staatoper and other orchestras in Vienna. In 2014 she also played as a guest-solo harpist in Theatro alla Scala in Milano, Italy. Tina Žerdin collaborates with Slovenian composers.

Founded in 2010, ensemble proton bern has established itself as one of the top new music groups. The actual goal is however much greater: they want to bring people closer to new music. To this end, the musicians seek contact to and are able to discuss the contemporary sound world with their audience. It is therefore that ensemble proton bern is so prevalent online: proton's concert videos on YouTube have been viewed – most unusually for new music – many thousands of times.

The common ground among the nine core musicians is their passionate curiosity for undiscovered musical terrain. For this reason, ensemble proton bern is specialised in premiering new works. These are often commissioned works tailor-made for the particular ensemble makeup. The ensemble boasts being able to offer the rare opportunity to write for special instruments such as lupophone (bass oboe) and contraforte (contrabassoon).

In the search for the 'new' in new music, the musicians maintain close contact with well-known composers, but also support exceptional talent. The initiative protonwerk (sponsored by Pro Helvetia) offers newcomers the chance to have their works played by the ensemble at the highest level.

Ensemble proton bern attracts interest internationally, as was evident in St. Petersburg recently when the cosmopolitan ensemble from Berne opened the International Festival for New Music reMusik at the legendary Mariinsky Theatre. Upon invitation from Radio France, the group recorded a CD for the label Klarthe in Paris shortly after.

As ongoing ensemble in residence at the Dampfzentrale Bern, however, the musicians are strongly connected to their hometown. Four times per year, ensemble proton bern invites local audiences to experience freshly prepared concert programmes in the own concert series, proton am montag.

Konstantin Timokhin performs across the globe with chamber orchestras such as the Colorado String Quartet (USA), Ensemble Fidelio and Contrechamps Genève, The Yofin Baroque Ensemble Zurich. He performed with Cecilia Bartoli in her GRAMMY Award winning "Sacrificium" Program.

Konstantin Timokhin played first horn in many famous European orchestras, including the Zurich Opera Orchestra, the Basle Symphony Orchestra, Les Musiciens du Louvre, in Geneva, Basle and Munich chamber orchestras, the Chamber Philharmonic Graubünden, the St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra. Now he is the principal horn player in the Basle Chamber Orchestra. The orchestra is regularly on tours with internationally renowned soloists and conductors, performing in the the world's largest concert halls.

As a soloist playing authentic instruments he performs regularly with the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa (Japan), Les Musiciens du Louvre under Mark Minkowski (France), the Concerto Köln (Germany) and the Giardino Armonico (Italy) under Giovanni Antonini.

French "Trio Elysée" was founded in 1995 by the former members of two string quartets "Ysaÿe Quartet" and "Anton Quartet", which received the Grand Prize at the International competition of string quartets in Evian.

The uniqueness of "Trio Elysée " consists in the confrontation and assimilation of two different schools: the French one and a prestigious Russian one.

These two schools mutually enrich each other. They facilitate the blending of different ideas, development of new dimensions in music interpretation and present an expressive force of great originality.

"Trio Elysée " has performed in such European countries as England, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Israel, Japan, China, Canada, Nicaragua, Russia ... in France the quartet took part in various festivals, including "Orangerie de Sceaux" and "Périgord Noir", as well as the festivals of string quartets in Fayence, Luberon, Ile-de-France, Abbaye de l'Épau and the events of "Saison Musicale" from ProQuartet in Fontainebleau.

MELO is an art collective based in Stockholm, Sweden. The group consists of artists with
backgrounds in fine art, dance, music and sound design. Since the start in 2005, the group has
created performances for stage, site-specific artworks and installations and music as well as given workshops and lectures about their work. MELO experiments in different ways with the role of the audience and their participation in their work, as well as exploring ways to enclose the audience with sound and movement and create a shared space. MELO is active in different cultural contexts; on the dance stage, the music stage, the art gallery, the cultural house and the school.

Since the start, MELO has collaborated with New Theatre on Pechersk (Kyiv) in several performances which have toured/played in Ukraine and Sweden. An important part of MELO's work is for- and with children and youth with special needs and MELO has created performances specifically for/with this group. MELO aims is to reach all children with their work, specially children that hardly never get to experience live art. The group also wishes to put focus on who gets to perform on stages for professional dancing in Sweden - as in their performance 'a place' where youth with special needs co-created and performed the piece at one of Sweden's most important stages for dance.

Christopher Lyndon-Gee was included in the 600-page book and musical album of the recording company Naxos entitled "A to Z of Conductors", сovering the entire history of conducting from Hans von Bülow and Artúr Nikisch up to the present time.
Christopher Lyndon-Gee was nominated for Grammy in 1998 for "Best orchestral performance" for the first volume of his innovational series of the complete works of Igor Markevitch (originally released at Marco Polo); in 2003 for the world première recording of Symphony No.5 by George Rochberg (Naxos 8.559115) at Naxos American Classics; and again in 2007 for the recording of the Violin Concertos No.1 and No.3 of Hans Werner Henze (Naxos 8.557738) with Peter Sheppard Skaerved and the Saarbrücken Radio Symphony Orchestra (now the Deutsche Radio-Philharmonie).

In 2006 his music from Dante's 'Paradiso' ('Frammento del Dante') was performed in Florence for the first time by the German ensemble 'Singer Pur' – the 'Echo Klassik' Prize holder; his 'Music für Salteninstrumente' has recently been presented in several countries ); the composition 'Over Litton' after a poem of Edward Storey, was premiered in Wales at the 25th Presteigne Festival before being widely recognized in New York, Australia and other countries.

Lyndon-Gee studied conducting under Rudolf Schwarz in London, and Franco Ferrara in Rome, where Leonard Bernstein heard him conduct at the student concert and subsequently invited him to study at Tanglewood. Later he worked there also under Maurice Abravanel, Erich Leinsdorf and others. He worked as Bruno Maderna's assistant at La Scala (Milan), and later became second conductor at the Teatro Regio in Turin, working also with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in that city.
Together with composer Lorenzo Ferrero he founded the Ensemble 'Fase Seconda', that presented dozens of new compositions throughout Italy, Germany, France and at many intrernational festivals.

Tammy Hensrud is a most versatile artist and has performed the compositions in the contemporary style, musical, jazz, as well as classical and operatic genres. As an interpreter of Kurt Weill and Cabaret she has performed one-woman shows at the Lucille Lortel Theater, Café Sabarsky, The Players Club in New York and the National Concert Hall in Dublin (Ireland).
As an adherent of contemporary music, Ms. Hensrud has performed global premières at Carnegie Hall, the Symphony Space performing arts center and the Center for Contemporary Opera in New York, as well as in Germany and Austria.
One of Ms. Hensrud's achievements is the role of Mother Abbess in the musical film "The Sound of Music" at the Ordway Theatre in Saint Paul.
In 2008 Ms. Hensrud co-founded Feminine Musique – a singing duo, dedicated to performing the compositions of women composers which has been heard throughout the United States and Europe. She is also a founding member of the Enigma trio, specializing in vocal chamber music, cello and piano.

Since 2005 Ms. Hensrud has worked at the Voice faculty of Hofstra University as Adjunct Professor of Voice, she serves as Visiting Associate Professor of Voice at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and also is the Vocal Director of Summer Music Festival in Oyster Bay. Apart from this, Tammy is on the faculty of Westchester Summer Vocal Institute, S'onge D'éte Summer Music Festival (Quebec), CW Post Summer Music Festival, ArtsBridge Summer ArtSong, and Music in the Alps Musical Festival (Bad Gastein, Austria).

Ms Hensrud has given master classes at the National Opera Association, Classical Singer National Convention, the NATS Eastern Region Convention, she has served as an adjudicator of the National Singing Competition of the National Association of Teachers of Singing NATS NY and Eastern Regional Competitions.

Ms. Hensrud is a member of such organizations as AEA, AGMA, NATS and NOA, as well as Summer and Easter festivals, the Metropolitan Opera, the Cleveland Opera, opera orchestras of James Levine and Herbert von Karajan.

Andrii was born in Khmelnytskyi. He finished Kyiv Specialized Music Boarding School in the
class of Prof. Mykhailo Kuznetsov, and then continued his education in Hannover, where he
studied at Music and Drama University under the guidance of Prof. Krzysztof Węgrzyn, and
Paris Conservatory. In Ukraine the image of the violinist Andrii Bielov was formed in the first
place by such facts from his biography as a brilliant victory at a prestigious Munich ARD
Competition in 1999, his performance as a member of the legendary Shymanovskyi Quartet
where he played first violin and his solo performance at the premiere of Myroslav Skoryk's
new violin recital in 2009.

A Ukrainian pianist born in Kyiv. Oleksii was into music from his early childhood and started
performing at the age of six.

When he was 13 he was already performing with Ukrainian orchestras, playing piano concerti
of Chopin and Mozart. Oleksii has won many international awards, including first prize at the
last all-USSR Sergei Diaghilev Competition of Pianists in Moscow.
This year Oleksii Hryniuk has started his large-scale tour of the USA, which is comprised of 27
concerts. He will perform three piano concerti of Schumann and Prokofiev together with the
National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and he will also make a début performance as a
member of the piano trio at the Kaufman Hall (92Y St., New-York) together with his partners
Nicola Benedetti and Leonard Elschenbroich.
His prospective performances include a solo début at the musical festival in Verbier
(Switzerland) and the première of Beethoven's "Choral Fantazy" in the Kyiv Philarmonic.

Nicholas Isherwood is one of the leading singers of early and contemporary music in the world (La Scala, Covent Garden, Salzburg Festival, all 3 Berlin opera houses, Tanglewood, Ravinia, 60 CD recordings). He has worked as a stage director on both sides of the Atlantic (Festival Cervantino, Théatre Sylvia Monfort, Teatro Regio in Torino, Stuttgart Opera). He has worked with composers Sylvano Bussotti, Elliott Carter, George Crumb, Hans Werner Henze, Olivier Messiaen, Mauricio Kagel, Giacinto Scelsi and Iannis Xenakis. He worked with Karlheinz Stockhausen from 1984 until his premature death in 2007. He has published articles in LIM, Vox
Humana and the Journal of Singing and his book; Techniques of Singing; was published by Bärenreiter Verlag. Isherwood often teaches master classes (Paris Conservatoire, Salzburg Mozarteum, Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan) and has been professor of singing and opera in various universities in the US, at the Ecole Normale de Musique and the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Lyon. He currently teaches the class on contemporary vocal techniques at the UdK in Berlin.

Oleksandr Dubovyk - a Ukrainian painter, graphic artist and monumentalist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the Honorary Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the head of the artistic association "Pohliad" (The Look). Oleksandr is a symbolic personality in the cultural life of Ukraine.

New Era Orchestra (NEO) is one of the most exciting ensembles performing on Ukraine's musical stage. The orchestra has a reputation for originality and quality.

Acknowledged as a symbol of what 'New Ukraine' is by Ukrainian philanthropists and admirers of music, New Era Orchestra was created in 2007 in Kiev, Ukraine by Tatyana Kalinichenko, who has been a leader, an art director and main conductor of the orchestra ever since.

The repertoire of the orchestra embraces a range of styles from classical to contemporary music. Along with performing trendy repertoire, the orchestra often showcases the unjustly disregarded and new works to its audience.

New Era Orchestra was the first in Ukraine to perform the music of such composers as Philip Glass (USA), Michael Nyman, John Tavener (Great Britain), Iannis Xenakis (France), Avner Dorman (Israel – USA), Takashi Yoshimatsu (Japan), Leonid Desyatnikov, Alexander Mosolov (Russia), Marjan Mozetich (Canada), Alexander Raskatov (Russia – Germany), Georgs Pelecis and Arturs Maskats (Latvia). Besides, the orchestra has premiered numerous pieces of such outstanding contemporary composers as Joaquin Rodrigo (Spain), Yasushi Akutagawa (Japan), Krzysztof Penderecki (Poland), Arvo Pärt (Estonia), Giya Kancheli (Georgia), Peteris Vasks (Latvia), Giovanni Sollima (Italy), Vladimir Martynov (Russia) and others.

The orchestra has worked with many of the world's renowned soloists including Joshua Bell (violin, USA), Avi Avital (mandolin, Israel – Germany), Danjulo Ishizaka (cello, Germany), Roman Mints (violin, Russia – Great Britain), Anja Lechner (cello, Germany), soloists of 'Kremerata Baltica' Andrei Pushkarev (vibraphone, Ukraine – Latvia) and Jana Ozolina (violin, Latvia), Dino Saluzzi (bandoneón, Argentina). The orchestra frequently performs with such leading Ukrainian soloists as Andrii Rakhmanin (violin, main concertmaster of the orchestra), Tetiiana Andriievska (violin, concertmaster of the orchestra), Kirill Sharapov (violin), Dmytro Marchenko (vibraphone), Roman Repka (piano), Artem Poludenny (cello), Olena Arbuzova (soprano), Solomiya Pryymak (soprano).

Tatyana Kalinichenko as an art director and conductor of the orchestra calls for extremely intense degree of involvement from all the musicians. The members of the orchestra pursue parallel careers as international and Ukrainian soloists, as members of separate chamber groups and as tutors and professors of music. This encourages each musician to individually develop while simultaneously benefitting the group. The spirit of apprenticeship is strong in the orchestra: student musicians are always an important part of its constitution. Kalinichenko has successfully gathered excellent young musicians into NEO and always inspires their inner growth.

The orchestra is a frequent participant of the main contemporary music festivals in Ukraine and abroad such as GAIDA (Vilnius, Lithuania), Gogolfest, Art Arsenal, New Music Festival, Jazz in Kiev, DonKult etc.
In the past seasons New Era Orchestra has undertaken tours to Europe (France, Lithuania). A special venture of the orchestra has been the project 'Father and Son' (Kiev – Paris, Salle Cortot – Moscow) dedicated to Arsenii and Andrey Tarkovsky, a duo of outstanding Russian poet and film director respectively.

A Ukrainian music ethnic band, whose founder and artistic director is Vladyslav Troitskyi. The name of the band is a combination of the words "davaty" (to give) and "braty" (to take) according to Hrinchenko dictionary. DakhaBrakha band was founded specifically for the theatrical project "Ukraina mistychna" (Mystical Ukraine), which was started by Vlad Troitskyi in the Contemporary Art Centre "Dakh" in 2004, on the eve of the Orange Revolution. The project consisted of three performances based on Shakespeare's plays: "Prologue to 'Macbeth," "Richard III" and "King Lear," with a prevailing theme of a person's obsessed, bloody struggle for power. And the leading role in providing the typified events described by the English playwright with Ukrainian colouring was entrusted to DakhaBrakha band.

As the project "Ukraina mistychna" was ambitiously aimed at creating a new Ukrainian myth about Ukraine itself – a life-asserting myth – by theatrical means, the authentic song was turned to as a basic creative source of ethnos. Still, it was essential not to proceed with the ethnographic inertia consisting in the preservation of old samples of performance but instead to attempt at touching the live energy of tradition directly, and launch the stream of new formation. Discovering the reality of a new impulse in the turnover of events leading towards degeneration and death – was something that the project efforts were directed at.

Thus a unique style of the band – ethno-chaos has emerged and it is now shattering the conventions, shifting habitual accents, experimenting with the form for the sake of a more precise and suggestive transmission of the profound sense.

The band uses Ukrainian folk songs, recorded by its members and their colleagues studying folklore during the folklore expeditions in different regions of Ukraine. The songs are sung in the authentic manner and are combined with the sounding of a wide range of instruments from various parts of the world. It is a game of exploiting different musical genres: minimalism, hip-hop, soul, blues.

A début album of the band – "Na dobranich" (Good night) was released in 2006. The next albums were "Yahudky" and "Na mezhi" (On the Border). In 2010 DakhaBrakha released a studio album "Light", and Yurii Khustochka acted as a sound supervisor of the recording. In 2012 "Khmeleva project" album came out, created in cooperation with a Belarusian band "Port Mone." The recording was made in the Polish city of Lodz on the initiative of the "Art-Pole" agency.

In winter-spring of 2012 DakhaBrakha band created a musical accompaniment to a silent film "Zemlia" (Earth) on order of the Dovzhenko National Centre. At the end of 2016 a new studio album "Shliakh" (Way) was issued, and the sound supervisor of it was Yurii Khustochka again.

The musicians made concert appearances at the most famous festivals of the world – Glastonbury, Roskilde festival, Bonnaroo, Lowlands, Womad, WOMADelaide, WOMEX, Sziget, Fusion, GlobalFEST, Helsinki Festival, Med, Mundial, Oslo World Music Festival, Pohoda, Rudolstadt, Cinars, Dublin World Music Festival, Ethno Port, The Creation of Peace, Ethno-Mechanics and other music events all over the world. They were the only representatives of Ukraine on the legendary programme "Later…" with Jools Holland on BBC, and also on radio programmes of KEXP and NPR.

Due to an extremely wide geography of the performances – Columbia, Brazil, Mexico, the USA, Canada, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, the majority of the European countries, the band is often called the major touring band of the country and Ukraine's ambassador in the world.

Born out of theatrical energies, in each of its compositions the band creates a performance which connects the distant notions in harmonious ways: one's own and somebody else's things, the feeling and a precise semantic and rhythmical structure, drive and meditativeness, etc. A special voluminous atmosphere and dramatic unfolding of the theme of each song come from the theatre as well. The setting of the authentic song performed by DakhaBrakha is not the village or the city. Not now and not indefinite time ago. It is everywhere and always. It is not routine. It is the domain of mystery, if mystery can be defined as a sacrament of the internal rendezvous with one's own self – without lies, self-justification and idealization. Ukrainian soul has to have courage to face its darker side, trespass the limits of conventional taboos, pseudo-sanctifications and recognize its chthonic demons. Only then its different image will shine like from the ancient dark icons.

A Ukrainian pianist, the laureate of L. Revutskyi Prize (1998), "StART" Prize (2003). Contemporary Ukrainian and foreign music is predominant in the pianist's repertoire. Ye. Hromov combines his performances with educating activity – thus, in 2002–2004 he delivered a course of lectures on "XX century Music" (Union of Composers of Ukraine) together with a composer S. Piliutykov. He conducted a performing and analytical master-class entitled "Controlled aleatoric music and the principles of its performance exemplified by Piano Sonata No.3 by Pierre Boulez (France)" on December 7^th, 2005 at P.I. Chaikovsky National Music Academy. On February 27^th – March 3^rd 2006 he conducted a series of creative workshops "Kyiv Avant-garde of the 1960s" (B.M. Liatoshynskyi school) in P.I. Chaikovsky National Music Academy. Yevhen Hromov accomplished over 70 world and Ukrainian premières. He cooperated with many Ukrainian composers. He made compact disc recordings of piano works of R. Wagner, А. Schoenberg, А. Berg, А. Webern, L. Revutskyi, L. Hrabovskyi, V. Hodziatskyi, V. Silvestrov, V. Huba, Ye. Stankovych, P. Solovkin, V. Zahortsev, S. Krutykov, A. Knaifel, P. Boulez (TNC Recording, USA). Since 1993 he has performed at the festivals "Kyiv Music Fest", "Muzychni Premiery Sezonu" (Musical Premières of the Season), "Forum muzyky molodykh" (Youth Music Forum), etc. He gives concerts in Poland, Belarus, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France.

Creation of the National Chamber Ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" is the realization of a dream of the famous violinist, professor, and People's Artist of Ukraine Bogodar Kotorovych (1941–2009).

Recognized by listeners and critics from around the world, the collective brings together
young talented musicians of Ukraine. Most of them are the winners of both national and international competitions and represent B. Kotorovych School. Now Anatolii Vasylkivskyi is the artistic director of the collective.

avant-garde has conquered the world audience in such famous halls as the Luxembourg Palace
and UNESCO in Paris, Komische Oper Berlin, the Grand National Philharmonic in Warsaw,

The ensemble is an invited participant in the following international festivals: David Oistrahhi Festival (Pärnu, Estonia), the Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music (Poland), Contemporary Music Festival (Krakow, Poland), Classical Music Festival (Ruhr, Germany), International Symphonic Music Festival (Algeria), Gabala Festival (Azerbaijan), as well as "The Season's Musical Premieres", KyivMusicFest, GogolFest, New Music Festival, and ChamberArtMusic (Ukraine).

For the active creative activity in the representation of Ukrainian performing culture in the world, the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" has received the status of Ambassador of Ukrainian Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. In 2010, the collective was awarded the title "National Chamber Ensemble" by a decree of the President of Ukraine.

Antonii Baryshevskyi was born in Kiev. At the age of seven he began to learn the piano. In 2007 he entered the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine (class of Valery Kozlov). He is currently undertaking an assistant traineeship at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine and studying at the École Supérieure de Musique in Paris (class of Marian Rybicki).
He has taken part in master-classes given by Alfred Brendel, Daniel Pollack and Lily Dorfman.
At the age of sixteen he was a prize-winner of the All-Ukrainian programme Man of the Year, and one year after that he took part in a youth concert of Radio Europe in Munich.
Since 2012 he has been a soloist with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
Prize-winner at numerous international competitions, among them the competition Performer-Composer in St Petersburg (1stprize, 2004), the International Piano Competition in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Kiev (2nd prize, 2005), the International Piano Competition in Jaén (1st prize, 2009), the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition (2nd prize, 2011) and the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv (1st prize, 2014).
Regularly gives recitals and performs with symphony orchestras in Ukraine and internationally.
Has toured to France, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Spain, Germany, Israel and the USA.
Has produced recordings on radio and TV in Ukraine, Serbia, Italy, Denmark and Spain. Featured in a recording of music for a film produced by the Dovzhenko Film Studios. Naxos has released a solo disc by the pianist.

The chamber alliance NotaBene Chamber group (Kyiv, Ukraine) was founded in 2015. The ensemble is an alliance of the Ukrainian musicians of the New Formation: Maksym Grinchenko (violin), Andrii Pavlov (violin), Ivan Hritsyshyn (viola), Artem Poludennyi (cello), Roman Lopatynskyi (piano), Yurii Nemyrovskyi (clarinet), Oleksandr Rudko (baritone, actor). The ensemble's repertoire contains classical and contemporary academic music.

One of the most important tasks of the NotaBene group is an active promotion of the Ukrainian soloists of the New Generation in the European and global music space and the establishment of an equal creative dialogue with the musicians.

"The Telnyuk Sisters" duo was formed as a professional collective in 1986. The reviewers characterize the sisters' art as "a breath of fresh air", "a remedy for despair", "the mystery of word and music", and justly consider the duo "the last bastion of high poetry and music in the field of contemporary Ukrainian song art". Indeed, they are probably the only Ukrainian performers using exclusively genuine poetry and performing only "live" (both in acoustics and electronics), complying with the highest professional standards.

The artistic work of the duo was distinguished with Vasyl Stus Prize in 1998 for their contribution in the Ukrainian culture development. The Telnyuk Sisters are prize-winners of the national competition "New Names" (1987), "Chervona Ruta" (The Red Rue) festival (1989, 1991). In 2009 Halya and Lesya Telnyuk were awarded the title of the Honoured Artists of Ukraine.

In 2000–2001 the performance "U.B.N." (lyrics – Halyna Telnyuk, score – Lesya Telnyuk) was staged at the Maria Zankovetska Lviv Drama Theatre led by Fedir Stryhun. The drama "U.B.N." has become an extremely popular phenomenon and has drawn a wide response among the general public.

The sisters' artistic achievements make up nine albums.

In their songs Halya and Lesya Telnyuk employ only high poetry, and their performances present a feeling of theatrical performance for the privileged audience, with an original dramaturgy and a specific scheme of unfolding the characters, it is a conversation of the sisters between themselves and at the same time it is an open dialogue with each spectator.

"The Telnyuk Sisters" represent an ideal synthesis of music and words.

A long-term friendship and cooperation of the best Ukrainian musicians, winners of the international competitions, and a world famous cellist and conductor Dmitry Yablonsky had subserved the foundation of "Kyiv Virtuosi", a world-class chamber orchestra, in 2016.

A well-considered musical repertoire and the innovative performances of the orchestra headed by Dmitry Yablonsky have immediately attracted the Ukrainian audience and later the world one. "Kyiv Virtuosi" orchestra has become the best known ensemble in Ukraine. Within the first year only the collective took part in over 100 concerts in Ukraine, Israel, Azerbaijan, Spain, Switzerland.

The orchestra has collaborated and performed with the stars of the world classical stage, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Oksana Yablonska, Farhad Badalbeyli, Shlomo Mintz, Azer Zada and others.

Meet the duo of keyboardist and guitar player from Kyiv, who create music on the edge of electronic, grunge, ambient, noise and classical music.

Their debut EP Black Period was released last year and got an album of the year nomination according to the biggest Ukrainian music magazine comma.com.ua.

Since last year the band started touring abroad Ukraine, got positive reviews at British magazines Gigwise, Drowned in Sound, Undertheradar.

"Ptakh_Jung weave electric guitar, synth with beats, samples, and multi-effects to make atmospheric instrumental pieces that are the most left-leaning compositions in this list. 'Black Period' is a highlight. There's no pop structure, the track's appeal lies in its palpable sense of escapism, haunting emotional tenderness, and pummelling, frantic nocturnal energy. It's an absolutely gorgeous piece of music. It's plucked from their debut EP which came out in 2018 and they remain an underground concern but definitely have the potential to do some damage overseas and earn some ace festival slots at places such as Transmusicales and Sonar, who recognise quality electronic music. Ptakh_Jung already performed at Polish Tauron Nowa Myzyka festival, Slovak Sharpe and Slovenian Ment. On the 2-nd of August duo will come to Slovakia again with 1,5 hour programme made of electronic rhythms, massive guitar drive, melodic keyboard sequences and elements of ambient and noise.

The band combines the academic music traditions with the innovation of its dance trends in their work. Each performance of the band is a musical performance, based on musical avant-gardism, in which the expressive sounding of traditional instruments is entwined with modern electronic instruments.

The band started its work with reconsideration of Aphex Twin, Squarepusher tracks and the preludes of Shostakovych, and in 2016 they released the album DZ'OB. Their next release "Basement Suite" was recognized as the best Ukrainian mini-album by three authoritative periodicals – KarabasLive, LiRoom, Muzmapa and gathered a lot of complimentary reviews from critics. In the end of 2018 the band released the third and currently the last album "Beings for Throbbing."

The band "Son Sovy" (The Owl's Dream) is a carefully devised mixture of controlled madness comprised of academic music, jazz and electro. As the members themselves confess, it is the music for the film which has not been made yet and according to music reviewers the main peculiarity of their sound is a combination of tenor saxophone, cello and synthesizers.

State Enterprise "State Academic Variety Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine" (Kyiv Fantastic Orchestra) – is one of the best known professional musical ensembles of the country. At present the orchestra is a robust concert organization comprising various artistic groups: a big variety symphony orchestra, a big band, a jazz band, a chamber orchestra, various stringed and wind chamber ensembles performing both on the big stage and smaller concert venues.

These musicians were given applause to in the best concert halls of France, Holland, Spain, Italy, Germany, South Korea and Poland. The creative works of the State Academic Variety Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine include hundreds of diverse concert programmes. The orchestra is creating a contemporary music history of Ukraine. The projects "Notre-Dame de Paris," Rock-opera "Mozart," Rock Symphony with the participation of the State Academic Variety Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine had a huge success with the spectators. The orchestra was honoured to work with Oksana Bilozir, Ruslana, Jamala, Oleksandr Ponomarov, Pavlo Zibrov, Nazarii Yaremchuk, Vasyl Zinkevych, Ivo Bobul, Viktor Pavlik and others.

Singer Nazgul Shukaieva is one of the most extraordinary figures on the Ukrainian jazz, academic and underground stage. Nazgul was born in Kazakhstan and she is in love with Ukraine where she has been living for 17 years already.

Nazgul Shukaieva has a rare voice range: from the throat singing to soprano, which allows her to perform authentic folk, jazz and contemporary academic music alike. At present she is the only woman in Ukraine and Kazakhstan who has mastered "kai" – an ancient throat singing technique – combining it with a modern mode of phonation.

LAURA MARTI performs at the intersection of styles: jazz, pop, rock, ethno, electronic music. Her love for Brazilian and jazz music, her Armenian roots and Ukrainian heart form a "delicious" mix when she performs her own music. The singer has an original subtle style and an expressive smooth timbre which is easily recognizable.

ELLE Ukraine magazine called LAURA MARTI "The Best Singer of 2017". In 2018 LAURA MARTI was honoured to perform on the central stage of Leopolis Jazz Fest with a Swedish jazz star Lars Danielsson.

LAURA MARTI collaborates with famous jazz musicians: Misha Tsiganov, Hans Peter Salentin, Vadim Neselovskyi, Michael Borstlap and others. In 2018 she created an original capsule collection "JAZZ FACES – '18" together with the OSTEL brand.

LAURA MARTI participates in many projects: - Igor Zakus' jazz Kolo author's project, - Alexei Kogan's Jazz Stories and Jazz in Kiev Band, - a joint project with an Austrian composer, jazz saxophonist, originally from Ukraine, Anton Pivovarov. Lemko Suite.

National Presidential Orchestra is a state orchestra founded in November 1991.

Anatolii Molotai, the People's Artist of Ukraine, became the founder and artistic director of the orchestra.

Lev Kolodub, Ivan Karabyts, Yevhen Stankovych, Anatolii Solovianenko, "Yavir" Quartet, the Choir of the National Opera of Ukraine, "Dumka" Choir and many other performers and musical ensembles collaborated with the orchestra at different times.

Today, the National Presidential Orchestra is a unique creative collective of our State, in which the brass, chamber, symphonic, symphonic compositions of the orchestra and a big band are harmoniously combined to present musical culture of Ukraine in the world art space.

The musicians came together in 2011 to commemorate the 90^th anniversary of the great Argentinian musician Ástor Piazzolla. All of them were fervent admirers of tango.

Style, incredible energy, superb artistic and professional performance in the elegant framing and, to crown it all, original sound – all this pertains to Virtuoso Orchestra KIEV TANGO PROJECT. Moreover, it is acknowledged by many people that KIEV TANGO PROJECT is a musical phenomenon of Ukraine!

In the 7 years of its functioning the quartet has released 4 albums: "Kiev-Tango-Project" (works of Ástor Piazzolla), "For Dancers" (tango hits dedicated to all who dance tango), "French Touch" (the music of Parisian streets) and "Tango Territory" (world tango hits), as well as numerous concert and dance programmes, including the following ones: "Ukrainika" (Ukrainian folk songs in the tango style), "Tango Nuevo" (works of Ástor Piazzolla played according to original scores and in the original composition), "Tango with an orchestra." For the past years the musicians have given a huge amount of concerts in many Ukrainian cities and abroad. Interesting collaborations were made with such singers as Jamala, Nastia Kamenskykh (NK), Alyosha, Tayanna, Nadiia Meikher-Hranovska, Vlad Sytnyk and others;with such choreographers as Kostiantyn Tomilchenko, Olena Shoptenko, Vitalii Zahoruiko, Serhii Shuliko, duet "So Tango", Argentinian dancers – Mauro Caiazza, Gustavo Guarnieri, Juan and Lisa Rosales and Mazen Kiwan (Lebanon).The Quartet "Kiev-Tango-Project" is a frequent guest at various Kyiv events, radio- and TV programmes, milongas, concerts. They transform everything they like into tango – from pop melodies to rock hits and Ukrainian folk songs and do it in a very modern and stylish way, on the highest professional and artistic level.
Musicians of the quartet KIEV TANGO PROJECT actively participate in social projects and charity events. Their new project "Tango: Here and Now!" has started recently, and a series of charity concerts in such Kyiv institutions as orphanages and asylums, nursing homes, Okhmatdyt and others are planned within it.

The quartet actively popularizes instrumental music and each performer has higher education in music and an impressive personal history of performing.

Svitlana Shabaltina graduated from Gnessin State Musical College in Moscow and completed her postgraduate studies in piano there as well.
She has performed as a soloist and a member of chamber ensembles, has taken part in numerous contemporary and early music festivals in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary.
She has given concerts in Great Britain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the USA.
She has made several radio recordings and premiere performances.
Since 1995 S. Shabaltina has led the harpsichord class at Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv, since 2000 she has been Professor of the Early Music Department of the same Academy. Svitlana is a founder of the Ukrainian School of harpsichord.
In 1990-1992 she was a trainee at the Academy of Music in Kraków with a famous harpsichord player E. Stefańska. In 1995 she founded the harpsichord class in Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy, since 2000 she has been Professor of the Early Music Department.
She is the author of the book "Klavesin skvoz veka" (Harpsichord Through Centuries). Essentially, the popularity of harpsichord in Ukraine owes to the artistic activity of Svitlana Shabatina.

Yevheniia Cherkazova graduated from Artemivsk Music College (1981 – 1985, class of B.T. Bogdana Pivnenko is the Honoured Artist of Ukraine, winner of international competitions, and laureate of the national programme "New Names of Ukraine".

She is the soloist of the Kyiv Camerata National Ensemble. Besides, Bohdana is a participant in numerous international festivals: Berliner Festspiele/ MaerzMusik, Europäische Klassikfestival in Ruhr (Germany), International Youth Music Festival Vienna (Grand Prix, Austria), the Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music (Poland), "Nostalgie" in Krakow (Poland), Days of Ukrainian Culture (Paris, Vienna, Moscow, Berlin, etc.).

Moreover, Bohdana has given many concerts in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Russia, Japan, China, and the USA. She has repeatedly participated in the premiere performances of the contemporary Ukrainian composers' works.

She is also the author and producer of such projects as "The Anthology of Contemporary Ukrainian Music" (8 CD albums) and "The Return of the Names". As a soloist she performs with the leading chamber and symphony orchestras of Ukraine, being a participant in projects of the international orchestra "The Philharmonic of Nations".

From 2000 to 2008, Bogdana Pivnenko was a teacher at P. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

Olesya Zdorovetska is a Dublin-based performer, composer and curator originally from Kyiv, Ukraine.
Olesya works internationally in disparate contexts as a solo artist and collaborator with creators in a wide range of disciplines, across the fields of improvised, contemporary classical, jazz, Afro- Caribbean and experimental music, regularly composing for film, theatre and contemporary dance.
Recent highlights include a DEIS award for "Ceol na n-Uisci" with The Water Project / Iarla Ó Lionáird, an IMA award with Dislocados, performances at GAIA Switzerland with Yurodny, London theatre production 'Remnants' with Erratica, an Asylum Arts award for "In the footsteps of Debora Vogel' project with Asya Gefter, European tours of 'Niemandsland' and 'Telling Sounds' projects.
She is a founder of UICP (Ukrainian-Irish Cultural Platform) and co-curator of Phonica, an
experimental music and poetry series in Dublin.

Ihor Zavhorodnii is a violinist, violist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist.


Being a participant of the Collegium Quartet, he studied at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy (Amsterdam). His teachers were Marc Danel, Stefan Metz, and Peter Cropper.


As a soloist and cameralist, Ihor toured in Austria, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands,
Poland, Switzerland, and Portugal.


Besides, he performed along with the National Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Kyiv Chamber Orchestra, Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, National Chamber Ensemble KYIV SOLOISTS, Academic Symphony Orchestra of Lviv Philharmonic, Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra, New Era Orchestra, National Ensemble of Soloists Kyiv Camerata, Academic Chamber Orchestra Lviv Virtuosos, and Kharkiv Philharmonic Orchestra together with such conductors as Volodymyr Sirenko, Myroslav Skoryk, Winston Dan Vogel (the USA), Dieter Wagner (Switzerland), Rimma Sushanska (England), Roman Rewakowicz (Poland), and others.


Moreover, Ihor Zavhorodnii is a performer of numerous premieres by Ukrainian composers.

Kyiv Academic Theatre on Pechersk was founded in 2000. The core of the theatrical group was made of senior students of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, the head of the course was N.N. Rushkovskyi, the People's Artist of Ukraine. In their student years this theatrical group staged the performances which became the basis of the future theatre repertoire. The artistic director of the theatre is A.V. Kryzhanivskyi.

Viktoriia Zubenko is a stylist, fashion critic and fashion consultant, director of fashion shows and editor of many fashion magazines.

Viktoriia was among those who launched the UFW, she was the host of the first Ukrainian Fashion Week, entitled "Sezony mody" (Fashion Seasons).

She has received several awards from the Ukrainian Fashion Week as "a stylish personality" and a prize-winner in the "Fashion-Patriot" project as a person promoting Ukrainian fashion.

Yulia Lazarevska is a film director, screenwriter, artist, sculptor, and member of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
She was born in Kyiv and has higher music education.

Viktoriia Poliova is a Ukrainian composer, member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine, and Shevchenko National Prize laureate (2018).


She works in symphonic, choral, and chamber-instrumental genres. The early period of Viktoriia Poliova's creativity is associated with the avant-garde aesthetics and polystylistics (ballet "Gagaku", "The Transform" for symphony orchestra, "The Anthem" for chamber orchestra, "Epiphany" for chamber ensemble, cantatas "Horace's Ode" and "The Gentle Light"). Since the late 1990s, her music has been stylistically linked with the so-called 'sacred minimalism' (Arvo Pärt, Henryk Górecki, Pēteris Vasks, and John Tavener). A significant period of Viktoriia Poliova's creativity is associated with the study and embodiment of the liturgical texts in music.

In 2010, along with such composers as Giya Kancheli, Valentin Silvestrov, Leonid Desyatnikov, Aleksander Raskatov, Alexander Wustin, Victor Kissine, and Georg Pelecis, Viktoriia Poliova took part in the international project of Gidon Kremer – "The Art of Instrumentation" dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach and Glenn Gould.


In 2011, Viktoriia Poliova became a composer-in-residence of the XXX Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival (Austria) by the invitation of Gidon Kremer.


Viktoriia Poliova is a laureate of the Art Prize "Kyiv" in honour of Artemy Vedel (2013), the International Competition "Spherical Music" (the USA, 2008), Borys Liatoshynskyi Prize (2005), the All-Ukrainian Composers' Competition "Psalms of The Third Millenium" (the 1^st Prize, 2001), and Levko Revutskyi Prize (1995).


Her works have been published by the Swiss publishing house Sordino Ediziuns Musicalas.

Tetiana Khoroshun is a student of Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine and composer.
She is the author of acoustic and electro-acoustic music, music for performances, sound installations, videos, and cinema. Besides, Tetiana is the co-author and performer of the electro-acoustic duet GUMA and persha_strichka.

The composer's music was heard at many Ukrainian and foreign contemporary art festivals, within the framework of the KORA project, the IZONE art platform, and Mystetskyi Arsenal.

Tetiana works on the idea of sound as emotional rehabilitation with the help of electro-acoustic improvisations and some special projects. Her music is characterized by the use of sound as a raw material, in which attention is paid to the acoustic and spectral nature of the sound object itself.

Alla Zamanska is a theatre and TV director, a teacher at Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University In 1965 – 1972 she received secondary musical education in Musical school No.4
In 1982 – 1994 she worked as a sound control supervisor in Kyiv theatres – Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre and the Young Theatre. During her work she created sound effects for over 40 performances, including "Vizyt staroi damy" (Old Lady's Visit) – director S. Danchenko, "Maister ta Margaryta" (The Master and Margarita) – director I. Molostov, "Pamiat" (Memory) – director M. Nestatiner, "Doroga Oleno Sergiievna" (Dear Olena Sergiievna) – director V. Ogloblin, "Viialo ledi Uindermyr" (Lady Windermere's Fan) – director V. Shulakov, "Arkheologiia" (Archaeology) and "I skazav B." (And said B.) – director V. Bilchenko.
In 1991-1996 she studied at the TV directing course of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, master V.B. Kisin.
In 1996 Alla staged the performance "Chekaiuchy na Hodo" (Waiting for Godot) after the play by S. Beckett, Kyiv Experimental Theatre, which was successfully presented at the noted European theatrical grounds. The performance had been on the repertoire of the Kyiv Young Theatre until 2018. In different years she has made theatrical productions with actors of Kyiv theatres, TV hosts and students.
Since 2000 she has been a director at the ICTV channel 1999-2001 – author and host of the "Kolo nochi" programme at the Continent radio.
Since 2007 Alla Zamanska has taught subjects "TV Hosting Techniques" and "Director's Work with an Actor" in Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University.
In 2008 she directed a documentary "Dim Sontsia" (The House of Sun) about homeless children in Donetsk.
Since 2011 Alla has been a permanent director of literary readings of poetry and contemporary world literature at the Book Arsenal.
She cooperates with the Self-organized Theatre for Seniors.

Kateryna Levental was born in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, one of the republics of the former Soviet Union. Kateryna moved to Holland in 1993 where she continued her studies on the harp at the Conservatories in Enschede, Rotterdam and Detmold (Germany) and Lyon. After graduating for her harp studies she followed her passion for singing and started a new study Classical Singing at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Kateryna finished both studies Cum Laude.

At this moment Kateryna makes a career as an opera singer and theater performer. She worked as a soloist with companies as De Nationale Opera, Jan Fabre/Troubleyn (Belgium), LOD Gent (Belgium), Toneelhuis Antwerpen (Belgium), Muziektheater Hollands Diep Dordrecht, Opera Trionfo, Veenfabriek Leiden, Opera Spanga, Opera Nijetrijne, Holland Opera, Silbersee, LeineRoebana, Opera de Calais, Diamantfabriek and others.

As a soloist in the concert and oratorium repertoire Kateryna performed at reknowned halls, theaters and venues in the Netherlands and abroad with the works of Bach, Pergolesi, Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Rossini, Poulenc and Duruflé. Together with the harpist Eva Tebbe Kateryna forms a successful duo called "Duo Bilitis". The duo is the winner of several international prizes, performed during numerous chamber music series and music festivals in Holland and abroad and released their CD's at the label Brilliant Classics/Foreign Media. A new CD 'Rêveries de Bilitis' based on work by Claude Debussy is released with big success in 2018.

Together with Chris Koolmees Kateryna forms LEKS Compagnie and develops music theater projects as Un Ballet Réaliste/Les Trois Sirènes, The Path (De Weg), Pierrot Lunaire 2.0, La Voix Humaine FaceTime. In 2017 a new performance 'The Border" (De Grens) has appeared, part two of their successful project The Path. In 2019 the new show 'Pique Dame' will have its première.

In 2015 Kateryna made her debut at the Dutch National Opera with the role of Melibea in Reimsreisje (Il Viaggio a Reims) by Gioacchino Rossini. Her recent engagements were amongst others Pierrot Lunaire by Arnold Schönberg in Tokyo with ensemble Nomad (Japan) and the role of 'Die Frau' in the Opera 'Menuet' (LOD Gent).

The course includes singing classes and trainings, 3 or 4 rehearsals of the symphony orchestra with the invited teachers and conductors (participants of the conducting workshop) as well as round table talks and discussions between the participants, invited teachers and guests.

Apart from this, the course embraces familiarization with the peculiarities of singing and conducting techniques, techniques of performing with a symphony orchestra, text and part analysis, interpretation, being on stage as well as self-organization and career development.

The course is conducted in English, as well as in German, Italian, Russian and Ukrainian.

Only 12 singers are admitted to the programme. Ukranian singers are offered a discount for studies.

The active participants choose the part, any 2-3 arias and/or scenes from the repertoire list which they will have to memorize and prepare beforehand. Chosen arias are performed at the concerts with the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine.

Apart from the mandatory repertoire each participant has to prepare 2-3 arias or author songs on his/her own choice with the piano accompaniment in order to perform at the recital.

Classes with the piano are held as well as 3-4 rehearsals of the symphony orchestra during the participants' preparation for the concerts with the symphony orchestra. Each singer will work with the conductors – the participants of the conducting workshop.

3 public concerts will be held within the workshop: a recital on Sunday (August 18^th), Monday (August 19^th) and Tuesday (August 20^th, 2019) together with the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine on the main stage of Sofia Kyivska.

The course includes classes with the invited teachers and singers (participants of the singing workshop), paired tête-a-tête 'conductor-singer' sessions and 5 dress rehearsals with the symphony orchestra (without the piano, quintet or sextet, even, without the ensemble, in which one person sings one part – only the symphony orchestra!), 2 dress rehearsals and public concerts of the participants on August 19^th and 20^th of 2019.

The course is conducted in English, as well as in German, Russian and Ukrainian in Kyiv (Ukraine).

Only 12 conductors will be admitted to the programme. Ukrainian conductors have special discount for studies.

Active participants choose the repertoire, which they have to memorize and prepare beforehand. They have an opportunity to perform with the orchestra (up to 100 minutes). Each conducting session is ended with a discussion/seminar. The topics include the conducting technique, learning the score, techniques of the interpretation and rehearsing, the art of voice training and conductor recitatives, and arias with opera singers. The conductors work with the orchestra repertoire and arias (2/3) or duets of singers.

2 public concerts are held within the workshop on the Main Stage of Sofia Kyivska with the National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine on August 19^th and 20^th, 2019. Each active participant is definitely conducting during the concerts.

He was named 'Artist of the Year' by the Australian National Critics Circle in 1994, and won the Sydney Opera Critics 'Best Conductor' award the same year. Acclaimed recent releases include George Rochberg's Symphony No 1 in its premiere recording (Naxos 8.559214); volume 2 of the complete works of Edgard Varese (Naxos 8.557882), including the massive original version of Ameriques, for oratorio Le Paradis perdu, released in 2008.

Frequently invited to conduct at the Warsaw Autumn Festival, he conducted four world premieres on a single concert at the Jubilee, Fiftieth anniversary Festival in 2007 - new symphonies by the Slovakian composer Roman Berger; Lithuania's leading female composer Onute Narbutaite; and the Polish composers Jerzy Kornowicz and Aleksand'r Lason. In 2006 he led the closing concert at the November 2006 'Pawel Szymanski Festival', also in Warsaw, featuring six of the major works of Poland's leading composer of today. In 2008, a four-DVD set including this complete concert was released worldwide by Polskie Wydawnictwo Audiowizualne.

As a composer, Lyndon-Gee was honoured by the Onassis Foundation Prize in 2001, has won the 'Sounds Australian' award three times, the Adolf Spivakovsky Prize, and the MacDowell Fellowship twice.In 2006, his setting from Dante's Paradiso, 'Frammento del Dante', was premiered in Florence by the Echo-Klassiek prizewinning German ensemble SinerPur; Music fur SaltenInstrumente has had recent performances in several countries (including Vladivostock, in far eastern Russia); and 'Over Litton', after a poem of Edward Storey, was premiered in Wales as a 25th anniversary Presteigne Festival Commission before being taken up widely in New York, Australia and elsewhere. In progress are forthcoming commissions of a set of songs for Lute and Tenor voice, Lieder des Morgensterns' a new work for SingerPur on a text from Milton; a String Quartet; a second string orchestra work for the German conductor Eckard Schloifer, '...und unter den Blattern sass Er, weinend'; a work for 'Harpsichord Unlimited' in New York,Etudes canoniques; and a Symphony respectfully dedicated to the aboriginal heritage of Australia, Symphony of Dreamtime.

Lyndon-Gee studied conducting under Rudolf Schwarz in London, and Franco Ferrara in Rome, where Leonard Bernstein heard him conduct a student concert, subsequently inviting him to study at Tanglewood. Here he later worked also under Maurice Abravanel, Erich Leinsdorf and others. He worked as Bruno Maderna's assistant at La Scala, Milan, later becoming second conductor at the Teatro Regio in Turin, working also with the RAI orchestra in that city. He was co-founder with composer Lorenzo Ferrero of the Ensemble Fase Seconda, who premiered dozens of commissioned new works throughout Italy, Germany, France and at many intrernational festivals. As a composer, he studied with Goffredo Petrassi in Rome, Luciano Berio, Sylvano Bussotti and Jean Martinon, Britain's great musicologist Arthur Hutchings remains a powerful guiding influence,several decades on.

Hailed by Switzerland's Opernwelt as "...a remarkably beautiful voice capable of many colors and nuances...a singer who is also a natural actress" has appeared in opera houses throughout Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Japan, Israel, South Africa, and the United States including the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Stuttgart Opera, Theatre de Chatelet in Paris, Klagenfurt Stadttheater, Salzburg Festival, Cleveland Opera, Opera Orchestra of New York, New York City Opera, and the Spoleto Arts Festival under notable conductors such as James Levine, Herbert von Karajan and Emmanuelle Villaume and others. She has been heard in recitals and concerts throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, and has recorded with the Netherlands Radio Orchestra, Süddeutsche Rundfunk Orchestra, and Manhattan Chamber Orchestra. Her core repertoire includes the great operatic roles of Strauss, Mozart, Rossini, Bellini, Puccini, and orchestral works of Mahler, Berlioz, and Wagner. Her acclaimed European debut as Romeo in I Capuletti e i Montecchi came while still a member of the Vienna State Opera's Young Artist Program. Invitations to opera houses in Germany, Austria and Italy soon followed.

A most versatile artist, Ms. Hensrud has performed contemporary, Musical Theater, Jazz, and Classical and Operatic genres to great acclaim. In demand as an interpreter of Kurt Weill and Cabaret, she has performed one-woman shows at the Lucille Lortel Theater, Café Sabarsky, the Players Club in New York City, and the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland. As a proponent of contemporary music, Ms. Hensrud has sung world premieres at Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space and the Center for Contemporary Opera in NYC and in Germany and Austria. Ms. Hensrud's Musical Theater credits include Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at the Ordway Theater in St. Paul. In 2008 Ms. Hensrud founded Feminine Musique, a Recital Duo dedicated to the music of Women Composers, which has been heard in the United States and throughout Europe. She is also a founding member of the Enigma Trio, specializing in vocal chamber music for Voice, Cello and Piano.Ms. Hensrud earned her BMus in cello performance and MMus in vocal performance and MA from the University of North Dakota. She continued her post-graduate studies on voice as the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship in Stuttgart, Germany, where she received the Artist Diploma in Opera. Additional studies were at Salzburg's Mozarteum, the Franz Liszt Musik Akademie, and the L'ecole Hindemith in Vevey, Switzerland. She has served on the Voice Faculty of Hofstra University as Adjunct Professor of Voice since 2005, is Visiting Associate Professor of Voice at St. Olaf College in MN and is the Vocal Director of the Oyster Bay Summer Music Festival. Her students have consistently been awarded top prizes in competitions and have gone on to undergraduate and graduate study at Boston Conservatory, The Juilliard School, Mannes College of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Hartt School of Music, Peabody Conservatory, Guild Hall (London, England), Rutgers University Opera Institute, Binghamton University, Carnegie Mellon University, Temple University, and Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, and are singing in Broadway National Tours and Off Broadway productions.Ms. Hensrud is a member of AEA, AGMA, NATS, and NOA.

Dr. Diltz is a proud graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She received her Masters from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Doctorate from The University of Kentucky. Currently, Darla lives in New York City, where she maintains a private voice studio. At Adelphi University she teaches voice, vocal pedagogy, jazz history and is the Director of Adelphi Opera Theatre. She serves on the Board of Directors for the NYC Chapter of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), and is a member of Opera America and the National Opera Association.
